  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer if desired for a smoother texture.
  4. Store the cherry-lemon syrup in the refrigerator for up to 2 days in an airtight container.
  5. Mix syrup with water in a pitcher, following a 1:1.5 ratio, and stir well.
