Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425º F (220º C).
  2. Rinse the chicken leg quarters under cold water and pat them dry using paper towels.
  3. Season both sides of the chicken legs generously with salt and pepper.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, sweet paprika, minced garlic, dried Italian herbs, and optional chili powder. Mix well until smooth.
  5. Add the seasoned chicken legs into the bowl with the marinade. Ensure each piece is evenly coated.
  6. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it. Place the marinated chicken legs on the sheet.
  7. Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165º F (75º C).
  8. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes and garnish with fresh lemon slices before serving.
