- Prepare the baking pan by greasing a 9x9-inch baking pan with butter, or line it with parchment paper.
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add both white and lemon-flavored mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir continuously until fully melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in the fresh lemon zest and optional lemon extract.
- Fold 6 cups of Rice Krispies into the warm marshmallow mixture.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press down evenly.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt 1 cup of white chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals.
- Once cooled, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the treats.
