Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Slice each hoagie roll lengthwise, keeping them hinged. Brush the insides with olive oil.
  3. Layer salami, capicola, and mortadella in the hoagie rolls.
  4. Top the meats with mozzarella cheese, covering the entire surface.
  5. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and tuck in fresh basil leaves.
  6. Place sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and melty.
  7. Remove from oven, let cool briefly, and serve hot.
