- In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Stir until smooth to form a dough.
- Add the softened cream cheese and mix thoroughly until fully incorporated.
- Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough and roll them into smooth balls. Optionally roll in powdered sugar.
- Place the cookie balls on the sheets, spacing 2 inches apart, and bake for 8–10 minutes.
- Remove and let rest for 1–2 minutes, then press a chocolate kiss into each cookie.
