  • 2 cups fresh strawberries husked and blended
  • 1 cups fresh basil leaves bright green
  • 4-5 whole fresh lemons juiced
  • 0.5 cups granulated sugar can substitute with honey or stevia
  • 4 cups cold water adjust to taste

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Hull 2 cups of fresh strawberries and place them into a blender. Add a handful of fresh basil leaves, then blend on high until smooth.
  2. In a large pitcher, pour in the strawberry-basil puree. Squeeze the juice of 4-5 lemons into the pitcher. Add ½ cup of sugar and stir until dissolved.
  3. Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher, adjusting sweetness and dilution as preferred. Stir gently to mix thoroughly.
  4. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
  5. Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish each with fresh strawberry slices and basil sprigs.
