Preparation Steps
- Hull 2 cups of fresh strawberries and place them into a blender. Add a handful of fresh basil leaves, then blend on high until smooth.
- In a large pitcher, pour in the strawberry-basil puree. Squeeze the juice of 4-5 lemons into the pitcher. Add ½ cup of sugar and stir until dissolved.
- Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher, adjusting sweetness and dilution as preferred. Stir gently to mix thoroughly.
- Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
- Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish each with fresh strawberry slices and basil sprigs.
