Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, black cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream together softened butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Incorporate egg yolks and vanilla into the butter-sugar mixture until combined.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in Halloween M&Ms and sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop around 17 balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between them.
  8. Top each dough ball with extra M&Ms, sprinkles, and candy eyeballs before baking.
  9. Bake for 10-11 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
  10. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
