Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a stand mixer, combine the softened butter and sugar. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add the large egg and milk, and beat until well combined, then gently stir in the vanilla extract.
- Slowly add the baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder, beating on low speed until fully integrated.
- Gradually incorporate the flour until the dough comes together.
- Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough, roll into a ball, and coat in Christmas-colored sprinkles.
- Place the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set. Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie after removing from the oven.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
Chill the dough if it's too sticky. Use a cookie scoop for uniform sizes. Store in an airtight container for best results.
