Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a stand mixer, combine the softened butter and sugar. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the large egg and milk, and beat until well combined, then gently stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Slowly add the baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder, beating on low speed until fully integrated.
  5. Gradually incorporate the flour until the dough comes together.
  6. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough, roll into a ball, and coat in Christmas-colored sprinkles.
  7. Place the coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set. Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie after removing from the oven.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
