Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet or grill to high heat (around 400°F). Form ground beef into small balls, about the size of golf balls.
  2. Place the balls in the skillet and smash them down into thin patties (about ½ inch thick).
  3. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes on one side until they develop crispy edges, then flip and cook another 3-4 minutes.
  4. In the last minute, place cheese slices on top of patties to melt, covering to trap heat.
  5. Warm tortillas in a separate pan for 15-20 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
  6. Assemble tacos by placing a cheesy patty in a tortilla, adding onions and pickles, then drizzling with special sauce.
