Step-by-Step Instructions for Gochujang Tofu
  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cube it.
  2. Heat neutral oil in a pan over medium-high heat, add tofu, and cook until golden brown.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together gochujang, ketchup, water, sesame oil, sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and corn starch.
  4. Sauté white onion and garlic in the same pan until translucent.
  5. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender.
  6. Combine cooked tofu and sauce in the pan, cook until sauce thickens.
  7. Serve garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
