  • 1/2 cup Honey Maple syrup for a vegan option.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and arrange them on a platter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, melt unsalted butter and mix with sesame oil, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss wings in the mixture.
  4. Spread wings in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 50-55 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. In a pot, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Sauté crushed red pepper flakes and ginger, then add honey, sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice, vinegar, and cornstarch; cook until thickened.
  6. In a bowl, drizzle sauce over baked wings and toss until evenly coated.
  7. Broil wings for an additional 4-5 minutes for extra crispiness.
  8. Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro, and serve with lime wedges.
