  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cayenne Adjust to heat preference.
For the Aromatics
  • 1 medium Onion Sliced.
  • 2 pieces Bay Leaves Remove before serving.

For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Scallion (Green Onion) Chopped.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C) and position a rack in the center.
  2. In your oven-safe pot, whisk together low-sodium soy sauce, white vinegar, minced garlic, and ground cayenne. Add sliced onion and bay leaves.
  3. Pat chicken thighs dry, season with ground black pepper, and place in the pot.
  4. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, then flip the chicken.
  5. Continue baking for another 30 minutes, checking that the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from the oven, discard bay leaves, and garnish with chopped scallions.
