Preparation Steps
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured countertop to about ¼ inch thick and preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled hot Italian sausage for 5-7 minutes until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil and layer with mozzarella, sausage, and feta.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Drizzle with hot honey and optionally sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh herbs and slice before serving.
