  • 1 lb Hot Italian Sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Crumbled Feta Cheese or goat cheese
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil optional if using parchment paper
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • 1/4 cup Hot Honey or mix regular honey with chili flakes
  • 1 bunch Fresh Herbs parsley or basil

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured countertop to about ¼ inch thick and preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled hot Italian sausage for 5-7 minutes until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil and layer with mozzarella, sausage, and feta.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  5. Drizzle with hot honey and optionally sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
  6. Allow to rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh herbs and slice before serving.
