- Preheat your grill to medium-high, around 375°F to 400°F. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, minced onion, cilantro, garlic, diced jalapeño, ground cumin, paprika, lime juice, shredded cheddar, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until combined.
- Divide the mixture into six equal portions and shape them into patties, about ¾-inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
- Grill the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Remove burgers and let them rest covered with foil for 3-5 minutes.
- Assemble by placing a patty on each bun, topping with guacamole, tomato slices, and lettuce.
