Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Butter Unsalted for better salinity control.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced; fresh is best.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a lighter option, use half and half.
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Adjust to taste.
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated preferred.
Seasoning and Garnish
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste.
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley Chopped, can substitute with basil.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Fresh is preferred.

Main Cooking Steps
  1. Season the salmon fillets and shrimp generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook salmon fillets skin-side down for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Sauté the shrimp in the same skillet for about 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  4. Add butter, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes to the skillet, cooking until fragrant.
  5. Slowly stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, then add Parmesan cheese to thicken.
  6. Combine salmon and shrimp back into the skillet, coating with the sauce and heating for another 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley and drizzle lemon juice before serving.
