  • 4 sprigs fresh rosemary Consider mint as a light alternative.
  • 1 cup extra frozen cranberries Fresh cranberries can also be used for garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of frozen cranberries, 1 cup of packed light brown sugar, and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer for about 10 minutes.
  2. While the cranberry simple syrup cools, prepare four rocks glasses filled with ice to chill.
  3. In a pitcher, combine 8 ounces of bourbon, 4 ounces of cranberry juice, and 4 ounces of cooled cranberry simple syrup. Stir gently.
  4. Remove the ice from the chilled glasses and pour the cocktail mixture over the ice, filling each glass to the rim.
  5. Garnish each cocktail with fresh rosemary sprigs and extra frozen cranberries, then serve immediately.

Notes
