- In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of frozen cranberries, 1 cup of packed light brown sugar, and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer for about 10 minutes.
- While the cranberry simple syrup cools, prepare four rocks glasses filled with ice to chill.
- In a pitcher, combine 8 ounces of bourbon, 4 ounces of cranberry juice, and 4 ounces of cooled cranberry simple syrup. Stir gently.
- Remove the ice from the chilled glasses and pour the cocktail mixture over the ice, filling each glass to the rim.
- Garnish each cocktail with fresh rosemary sprigs and extra frozen cranberries, then serve immediately.
