Ingredients
  

For the Tea Base
  • 4 cups Water Filtered
  • 4 bags Black Tea Bags Regular or decaf
For the Sweetness
  • ½ cup Sugar Or substitute with honey or agave
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed recommended
For the Fruity Layers
  • 1 cup Peach Nectar Homemade blended peaches can be used
  • 2 pieces Fresh Peaches Sliced for presentation
  • 1 cup Raspberries Fresh or frozen
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract Optional but recommended
For Serving
  • Ice cubes Ice Cubes Necessary for serving
  • 1 cup Sparkling Water or Club Soda Add just before serving
  • Mint Sprigs Optional for garnish
  • Extra Fruit Sliced peaches and raspberries for garnish

Method
 

Brew the Tea
  1. Boil 4 cups of filtered water in a medium pot, then steep 4 black tea bags for about 5 minutes. Stir in ½ cup of sugar until dissolved. Set tea aside to cool.
Prepare Peach Mixture
  1. Wash and slice 2 ripe fresh peaches. Blend with 1 cup of peach nectar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.
Make Raspberry Puree
  1. Heat 1 cup of raspberries with the juice of 1 lemon and ½ cup of sugar over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, then strain to remove seeds.
Assemble the Drink
  1. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour brewed tea halfway, then layer with peach mixture and raspberry puree.
Serve
  1. Top each glass with 1 cup of sparkling water or club soda, garnish with mint and extra fruit slices.
