Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Twinkie pan.

  3. Pour batter into prepared Twinkie pan, filling each slot about 2/3 full.
  4. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool Twinkies in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. Blend marshmallow cream, shortening, salt, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth for filling.
  7. Poke three holes in the bottom of each cooled Twinkie for filling.
  8. Pipe marshmallow filling into each Twinkie through the holes.
