- In the same large bowl, add in your crushed candy canes and crushed Oreo Mint Creme Cookies. Stir gently with a spatula to combine the ingredients.
- Using a microwave-safe bowl, melt the vanilla candy melts following the package instructions. Stir at 30-second intervals until smooth. Optionally, stir in peppermint extract.
- Immediately pour the melted candy over the popcorn mixture, ensuring every piece is generously coated. Use a rubber spatula to gently stir until well mixed.
- Transfer the coated popcorn onto a wax paper-lined cookie sheet, spreading it out evenly. Allow to cool for about 10-15 minutes until the coating hardens. Break into pieces and serve or store in an airtight container.
