Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with brown and granulated sugars using an electric mixer for 4 to 8 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time and mix well, then add vanilla extract.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving 2 inches of space between each scoop.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are crispy and centers remain soft.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 15 to 20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
