Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add sliced beef, coat evenly, cover, and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add marinated beef slices to sear for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil and sauté sliced bell peppers and onions for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Return seared beef to the skillet, add beef broth or water, and cook for 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles.
