Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C), ensuring it's heated for optimal cooking.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, ricotta, parmesan, garlic powder, and dried oregano until smooth and creamy.
  3. Boil salted water and cook uncooked spaghetti until just shy of al dente, then drain.
  4. In a skillet, cook Italian sausage and chopped onion over medium-high heat until browned. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes.
  5. Mix the cooked sausage and onion into the drained spaghetti and add marinara sauce, stirring well.
  6. Spread half of the pasta mixture in a baking dish, dolloping the cheese mixture over it.
  7. Top the cheese layer with the remaining pasta, and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and broil for 3-5 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
