  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce or substitute with homemade cheese sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle sauce or hot sauce for flavor variations
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or any melting cheese like Monterey Jack
For the Wrapping
  • 4 small flour tortillas or whole wheat/gluten-free alternatives
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil for grilling

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat; add ground beef and cook for 8-10 minutes until browned. Drain grease, stir in taco seasoning and water, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet over low heat for 30 seconds on each side or microwave for 15-20 seconds until pliable.
  3. Lay each tortilla flat and layer with cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and shredded cheeses.
  4. Grill the burrito seam-side down in a skillet with butter or oil for 3-4 minutes until golden, then flip and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, then slice in half and serve warm with salsa, guacamole, or salad.
