For the Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Butter Richness personified; ghee is a great substitute.

  • 4 sprigs Fresh Rosemary You could switch it out for thyme if preferred.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Let the filet mignon steaks rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  3. Season both sides of the filet mignon with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a heavy, oven-safe skillet over high heat.
  5. Sear the filet mignon for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  6. Add butter, minced garlic, and fresh rosemary to the pan and baste the steaks.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 6-7 minutes.
  8. Remove the skillet from the oven, tent the steaks with foil, and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
