Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a food processor or blender, combine oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, garlic cloves, fresh ginger, red chilli, and lemongrass. Blend until smooth to create a fragrant marinade.
  2. Place the chicken wings in a large mixing bowl, pour the marinade over them, and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or overnight.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F) and lightly spray the basket with cooking oil.
  4. Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 200°C (390°F) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown.
  5. While cooking, toast the peanuts in a small pan over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes until golden.
  6. Once the wings are crispy, serve on a platter topped with toasted peanuts, sliced spring onions, and extra red chilli.
