Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into four oval patties.
- Heat oil in a large skillet. Sear beef patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown. Remove and keep warm.
- In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion for 4-5 minutes until translucent. Add sliced mushrooms, cook for 5-7 minutes until caramelized.
- Sprinkle flour over onions and mushrooms, stir for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in beef broth while scraping the skillet. Add Worcestershire sauce and onion powder, simmer until thickened (3-4 minutes).
- Return patties to skillet, spoon gravy over them. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes until patties reach 165°F.
- Adjust gravy seasoning with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice.

Notes
Let patties rest after shaping for juiciness. Use meat thermometer for doneness. Adjust gravy consistency with broth if needed.
