For the Steaks
  • 4 pieces Ribeye Steaks 1-inch thick, boneless with marbling for juiciness
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil for browning
  • 1 tablespoon Steak Seasoning or Kosher Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons Butter or Herbed Butter for finishing the steaks

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Remove your ribeye steaks from the fridge and let them come to room temperature for 30-45 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 375°F) or your oven to 400°F.
  3. Rub the steaks with olive oil and sprinkle with steak seasoning or Kosher salt and pepper.
  4. On the grill, sear the steaks for 5-6 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  5. If using the oven, sear in a cast-iron pan for 2 minutes on each side, then roast for 11-14 minutes.
  6. Remove the steaks and place a pat of butter on each; let them rest for 5-10 minutes.
