- Wash 250 grams of okra, pat dry, then slice into 1-inch pieces. Slice one medium onion and chop one medium tomato.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon each of cumin seeds and coriander powder, along with a pinch of turmeric. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the okra, mix well, and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender.
- Stir in the chopped tomato and season with salt to taste. Cook for another 5 minutes and allow to simmer.
