Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Slice the jalapeños lengthwise, carefully removing the seeds and veins. Rub the jalapeño halves with oil and arrange them cut side up in the air fryer basket.
  2. Place the filled air fryer basket in the machine and air fry the jalapeños at 400°F (200°C) for about 4 minutes. Allow the jalapeños to cool briefly before turning them upside down on a paper towel to drain excess moisture.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Use a spatula to blend until smooth and creamy. Incorporate the half & half, then fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and crispy bacon.
  4. Generously scoop the creamy mixture into each jalapeño. Sprinkle some extra shredded cheddar and bacon on top if desired, then place them back in the air fryer basket.
  5. Return the stuffed jalapeños to the air fryer and set the temperature to 400°F (200°C) for an additional 5 minutes. Watch as the cheese melts and bubbles, creating a beautiful golden topping.
  6. Once the cooking time is complete, remove the poppers from the basket and garnish with freshly sliced green onions. Serve immediately, perhaps alongside ranch or blue cheese dressing.
