Iced Matcha Latte
  • 1-2 teaspoons Matcha Powder Use high-quality, culinary-grade matcha.
  • 2 ounces Hot Water Activates matcha powder.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Heat ½ cup of milk in the microwave for 45-60 seconds until hot but not boiling. Stir in dried culinary lavender, cover, and let steep for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Strain the milk into a bowl, pressing the lavender buds to extract flavor. Stir in sugar while warm until dissolved.
  3. Pour the strained lavender milk into a mason jar and shake vigorously for 30-60 seconds to froth. Add heavy cream and shake again to achieve a cold foam.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth. Sweeten with honey or simple syrup if desired.
  5. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, pour in milk, and leave space for cold foam. Pour the matcha over the milk.
  6. Dollop the frothed lavender cold foam on top and garnish with dried lavender buds. Serve immediately.
