Strawberry Cold Foam
  • 3 whole Strawberries Fresh ones provide natural sweetness
  • 1-2 tablespoons Sugar or Honey Adjust sweetness to liking
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy Cream Necessary for creating a luscious foam
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract Adds depth to the flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, measure 1 teaspoon of matcha powder and add 2 tablespoons of hot water. Whisk until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  2. Dice 3 strawberries and mix with 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar or honey. Mash until thick and pulpy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of heavy cream, 2 tablespoons of milk, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla to the mashed strawberries. Blend until thick and airy, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Fill a tall glass with 1 cup of ice cubes, then pour in 1 cup of milk. Layer the prepared matcha on top.
  5. Spoon the strawberry foam over the matcha, letting it float on top.
