For the Salmon
  • 4 fillets Salmon fillets Fresh is recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil Can be replaced with another cooking oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For Garnish (Optional)
  • few Sliced pineapple Fresh slices are most flavorful
  • to taste Cilantro Omit if not a fan

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Place salmon fillets onto the lined baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Brush the glaze generously over the salmon fillets, reserving some for basting later.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, basting halfway through with reserved glaze.
  6. Remove from oven, let rest for a couple of minutes, and garnish with fresh sliced pineapple and cilantro if desired.
