Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, and instant yeast. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a sticky dough forms. Cover and let rise for 1 to 2 hours.
  2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil. Transfer the risen dough into the prepared pan and allow it to rest for 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  3. In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over low heat. Add minced garlic and a pinch of salt and cook until fragrant, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Press deep dimples into the risen dough with your fingers. Drizzle the garlic oil over the dough, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, fresh herbs, and flaky sea salt.
  5. Bake the focaccia for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
  6. Cut the focaccia into squares or strips and serve warm.
