- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently. Fold in the diced apples.
- Scoop portions of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown, then switch on the broiler to crisp the tops.
- Prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and apple cider until smooth.
- Brush half of the glaze over the warm fritters and broil for an additional 2-4 minutes.
