- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Carefully open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangular pieces.
- On the wide end of each triangle, place a portion of shredded mozzarella cheese followed by slices of pepperoni.
- Starting from the wide end, roll the dough toward the narrow tip, tucking the filling securely inside.
- If desired, beat one egg and brush it over the tops of each roll for a glossy finish.
- Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and space your rolled dough evenly.
- Melt butter and mix in Italian seasoning; brush this mixture over each roll.
- Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for about 3 minutes before serving.
