Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangular pieces.
  3. On the wide end of each triangle, place a portion of shredded mozzarella cheese followed by slices of pepperoni.
  4. Starting from the wide end, roll the dough toward the narrow tip, tucking the filling securely inside.
  5. If desired, beat one egg and brush it over the tops of each roll for a glossy finish.
  6. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and space your rolled dough evenly.
  7. Melt butter and mix in Italian seasoning; brush this mixture over each roll.
  8. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for about 3 minutes before serving.
