Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Cut in the cold butter until crumbly, leaving small lumps of butter visible.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, yogurt, oil, and honey or syrup until well blended.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. Use a greased measuring cup or spoon to scoop out portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-16 minutes until puffed up and lightly cracked on top.
  9. Allow to cool on a wire rack for about 15 minutes before serving.
