Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of lukewarm milk, one large egg, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Whisk until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together 3 cups of sifted all-purpose flour, ¼ cup of sugar, and 2 teaspoons of instant yeast.
  3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and combine until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough gently for 1-2 minutes, shape into a ball, and let it rise in an oiled bowl covered for 1.5 to 2 hours.
  5. Punch down the dough and roll it out to about ¼ inch thick. Cut donut shapes and place them on parchment paper.
  6. Heat vegetable oil to 170-180°C (340-360°F) in a deep pan. Test the temperature before frying.
  7. Fry donuts for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels when done.
  8. In a clean bowl, beat 1 cup of heavy whipping cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar until stiff peaks form.
  9. Cut each cooled donut in half and spread some condensed milk inside both halves.
  10. Fill each donut generously with whipped cream and dust the tops with powdered sugar.
