  • 2 tablespoons Hazelnut Liqueur or almond extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt or sea salt
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar or granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract preferably pure
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips dark chocolate optional
  • 1 cup Mini M&M's or regular M&M's

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted salted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Mix in eggs, hazelnut liqueur, vanilla bean powder, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and kosher salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and mini M&M's using a spatula.
  6. Using a cookie scoop, drop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, leaving 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
