  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil can substitute with melted butter
For the Filling
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened to room temperature
  • 12 oz Whipped Topping preferably Cool Whip
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar adjust based on sweetness preference
For the Topping
  • 24 cookies Crushed Oreos finely crushed
  • to taste Gummy Worms

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, large eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool completely once baked.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and then fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
  6. Sprinkle crushed Oreos over the cream cheese layer and top with gummy worms.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
