Ingredients
  

For the Berry Syrup
  • 12 oz Frozen Mixed Berries Any blend of berries like raspberries, blueberries, or strawberries.
  • 1.5 cups Granulated Sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1.25 cups Water Cold water for dilution.
For the Lemonade
  • 1 cup Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 2 slices Lemons For garnish.
  • to taste Ice Crushed or cubed.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 12 oz of frozen mixed berries, 1½ cups of granulated sugar, and 1¼ cups of water. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Juice enough fresh lemons to yield 1 cup of lemon juice and strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
  3. Strain the syrup into a bowl, pressing solids to extract juice.
  4. In a pitcher, combine 1 cup of lemon juice, 1⅓ cups of syrup, and 6 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  5. Serve with lemon slices in glasses filled with ice.
