  5. Punch down the dough, divide into three pieces, roll each into a long rope, and braid them together.
  6. Press dyed hard-boiled eggs into the braided dough, spacing them evenly.
  7. Cover the braided dough and let it rise for an additional 30 minutes in a warm location.
  8. Preheat the oven and brush the risen dough with an egg wash, then bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
