Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, fresh spinach, shredded white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Use your hands or a spatula to gently mix the ingredients until just combined.
- Once the mixture is combined, divide it into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty, roughly ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil to coat the bottom. Allow the oil to heat for 1-2 minutes.
- Carefully place the patties in the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes on one side. Flip the burgers and continue cooking for another 5-6 minutes, ensuring they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Once cooked, transfer the patties to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
- To assemble, place each chicken patty on a burger bun and add your favorite toppings.
