  1. Begin by preparing your fresh ingredients: halve the cherry tomatoes, thinly slice the red onion, strain the marinated artichoke hearts, rinse and dry chickpeas, chop the fresh basil, and finely slice the chives. Set aside in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper until emulsified. Set aside.
  3. In the large mixing bowl, combine all the salad ingredients: cherry tomatoes, red onion, artichokes, chickpeas, chives, and capers. Toss gently to mix.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
