- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and lightly spray your donut pan with cooking oil.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, Guinness, and chocolate milk until smooth.
- Gently combine the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined and lumpy.
- Transfer the batter to a piping bag and fill the donut pan cavities about ¾ full.
- Bake the filled donut pan for 8-10 minutes until light and springy.
- Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for 3-5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Prepare the frosting by whisking together confectioners' sugar, unsalted butter, salt, and Irish whiskey until creamy.
- Add green food coloring to the frosting if desired and stir well.
- Frost the cooled donuts with the Irish whiskey frosting and add sprinkles if desired.
