Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, cottage cheese, beaten egg, breadcrumbs (or almond flour), garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and form it into a patty shape. Place each patty on a plate, leaving space in between.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Arrange the patties in a single layer.
  4. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.
  5. For a healthier option, preheat oven to 400°F, place patties on a lined baking sheet, and bake for 20-22 minutes.
  6. Remove patties from heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
