  • 12 ounces tri-color rotini pasta or substitute with fusilli or penne
For the Vegetables
  • 2 cups fresh lettuce romaine or iceberg
  • 1 cup tomatoes cherry or grape
For the Proteins
  • 4 slices bacon or turkey bacon
  • 1 cup turkey sliced
  • 1 cup ham sliced
For the Dairy
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese cubes or substitute with Swiss or Monterey Jack
For the Dressing
  • 1 cup ranch dressing homemade or bottled
  • ½ cup mayonnaise

Method
 

Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add tri-color rotini and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Chop fresh lettuce and dice tomatoes. If using cherry or grape tomatoes, halve them. Chop bacon into crumbles and slice turkey and ham into bite-sized pieces. Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add cooled rotini pasta to the mixing bowl and toss gently to mix. Add cheddar cheese cubes and mix again.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together ranch dressing and mayonnaise. Pour over pasta salad and toss to coat.
  5. Cover bowl or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
