- Wash the cherries under cool running water and pit them to remove the stones. If using frozen cherries, let them thaw slightly.
- In a blender, combine cherries with enough water to create a smooth mixture. Add lemon juice and blend until silky.
- Taste the mixture; add optional sweetener if needed and blend again.
- Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container, filling to the designated line and freeze for at least 24 hours.
- Process in the Ninja Creami using the “Sorbet” function until creamy.
- Check the consistency; if crumbly, run the “Mix-In” function or repeat the “Sorbet” cycle.
- Scoop the sorbet into bowls and serve immediately. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
