Step‑by‑Step Instructions
- Begin by thoroughly washing the jacket potatoes under cold water to remove any dirt. Prick each potato four times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
- Microwave on high for about 8 minutes for one potato, or adjust time accordingly—add 2–4 minutes for each additional potato. Turn them halfway through.
- Drizzle about 2 teaspoons of your chosen oil over the skins, and use your hands to coat them evenly. Sprinkle with salt.
- Transfer your seasoned potatoes to the preheated air fryer at 200°C (400°F). Cook for 8–10 minutes, checking for crispiness.
- For air fryer only method, place pricked potatoes directly in the basket and cook for approximately 45 minutes, turning halfway.
- Insert a sharp knife into the thickest part. If it slides in effortlessly, they’re ready to be enjoyed!
