  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or avocado oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (fresh) minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (fresh, grated)
For the Sauce
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup Honey or maple syrup for vegan
For the Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds optional
  • 2 tablespoons Chives finely chopped

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the salmon by patting the cubes dry and seasoning with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Optionally, allow to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon cubes for 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy.
  3. In the same skillet, add more olive oil and sauté minced garlic and grated ginger for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Make the sauce by pouring in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey, stirring and simmering for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  5. Combine salmon with the sauce in the skillet, tossing gently to coat. Heat for an additional minute.
  6. Serve the salmon bites over steamed rice, garnished with sesame seeds and chives.
