For the Toppings
  • 2 medium Roma Tomatoes Diced; cherry tomatoes are a substitute
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese Substitute with your favorite cheese blend
  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce Spinach or other greens can be used
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt can be a healthier substitute
  • 1 cup Salsa Adjust spice level to taste

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your baking sheet.
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls on a cookie sheet, pinching seams together to form a crust.
  3. Bake the crust for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  5. Add taco seasoning and a splash of water to the beef. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa in a bowl until smooth.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the baked crust.
  8. Spoon the cooked taco meat onto the cream cheese layer, then add diced tomatoes and cheese.
  9. Sprinkle shredded lettuce and other desired toppings on top.
  10. Return the pizza to the oven for another 5 minutes until warmed through.
  11. Slice and serve warm with extra salsa or sour cream.
